What? A Touch of Humor For Those Who Need or Wear Hearing Aids
In the American tradition of laughing at adversity, here is a chance to laugh at the humorous predicament of a good many people, including perhaps yourself. Oh, sure, a hearing loss can come with age, but there are many more who lose, at least partially, the ability to hear before they sample the ageing thing.
For the uniformed, a person does not have to totally lose hearing before not being able to understand the meaning of vocal communication from another individual. The sad part is that the process is gradual and the individual does not realize what has happened.
My first hearing test, I missed 97 of the 100 word test with consonants. I no longer heard the higher frequencies.
Here is a collection of situational cartoons to illustrate the condition.
If you are not laughing:
1. You do not need hearing aids.
2. You need encouragement to consider having your hearing tested.
3. You are shutting yourself out from the rest of the world and the problem can only get worse.
Laugh, nod your head in agreement, and be entertained by a special reward from a unique predicament.
....and
Push in your HA for a good Ha Ha.
