This Series of Books could also be called Survival Guide to Hard Times. Its purpose is to enable living to continue in the face of job loss, inflation, market crash, and/or economic depression. These books make unique contributions to the Money Problems, known as the New Economy, defined by any or all of these factors.:Inflation is reducing the purchasing power of the dollar.
--Out of control spending has turned us into a debtor nation in the world community.
--Jobs are being outsourced overseas regardless of their effect on the national economy.
--Our inability to compete for foreign oil will cause a massive change in our culture.
--The shortage of oil in an oil dependent culture will disrupt everybody’s life style.
--The resulting unemployment will require a much more independent way of living.
--Water or food or energy shortages will compete to be the next crisis with oil leading the way

The Key Word is Surviving the changes in our culture by any of these factors.
The sooner you accept the problem and start working on your own behalf, the easier Survival will be for you and your family. Face the fact that this catastrophe is with us and will not go away.

I can tell you how it ends. Sometime in the future, your great-grand-kids will shake their heads and say, "Poor old Gramps. He’s/ She’s hallucinating again". After a few generations of good times, the hard earned lessons are all forgotten.
"If you don’t learn from history, you are doomed to repeat it."

Hard Times - They Say That We Are Going To Revert Back To
The 1900's Because of Peak Oil.

I Don’t Think So

Sometimes I think that the guys who established the Official Poverty Level were Aliens- from another world. Or maybe it is politically astute not to mention people living in the pits. Even admitting to a depression is a political no-no.

Gosh, we have known times when we would have been delighted to live at half- the official poverty level. Here is what we define as poverty. Frugal is not a new word to us.

People who lose their home to foreclosure and rent a storage locker to put their belongings in; then fail to make rental payments and find that all of their belongings were sold for pennies. When walking is the only available means of transportation, you will want this book. Why not get a head start and see what you need to do when your funds run short all the time.

To meet really hard times and survive, most of the things that are called necessities today will have to be abandoned. Today will become known as Soft Times. No, I am not becoming one of the "Doomsayers". I am calling it like it has been in the past. It is up to you to adjust. If you deny or postpone learning now, the fall will be greater and the landing will be harder. The ultimate fall is often known as suicide, so start learning how to cope now and avoid the rush.
